POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

All accepted presenting authors attending the Annual Meeting should bring their printed posters to the venue. The event does not include any e-posters. Therefore, there is no need to upload posters online.

POSTER DIMENSIONS

The maximum allowed poster dimensions are 50 x 50 inches.

You can select portrait, landscape, or square orientation, but please make sure your poster does not exceed the maximum size. Otherwise, there will not be enough space for your poster.

MOUNTING YOUR POSTER

The poster area will be located in Room 20 and will be open for poster mounting from Thursday, November 14, as of 8:00 a.m. Posters should be set up ideally before the Welcome & Opening remarks at 9:00 a.m.

The venue floorplan is available on the website.

One poster will be placed on one side of the board and each poster spot will be given its unique number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster (will be sent via e-mail).

Suitable fixing material (pins) will be available on-site.

Please remove your poster until Saturday, November 16, 01:40 p.m.

The event organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to posters that are not removed by the specified time. Posters left behind after this time will be disposed of.

POSTER SESSIONS

Presenting authors are encouraged to be present during the poster sessions to answer possible questions from the delegates.

  • Thursday, November 14: 12:15 p.m. - 01:15 p.m. during the lunch break
  • Friday, November 15: 04:00 p.m. - 05:00 p.m.

Please try to be near your poster during that time (as well as other convenient times). If you wish, you can also make yourself available for a discussion near your poster during the coffee breaks.

TIPS FOR PREPARING YOUR POSTER

  • Content: The presenting authors are entirely responsible for the poster content. Use a short descriptive title, full names of contributing authors, and their affiliations.
  • Make your message clear: Highlight your AIM and CONCLUSION using bold and colored fonts.
  • Be brief: Use bullet points and only the most relevant text. 200-300 words are more than enough for the main text.
  • Pictures and graphics: Particular attention should be paid to the resolution of pictures. As a rule of thumb, use at least 300 dpi resolution. Make use of color and graphics. At least 3 pictures or figures are recommended to graphically show your study results.
